MIREYA VALERO
PRESIDENT

§
Oversees day to day agency operations
§ Works closely with Community and Hispanic Business leaders throughout Dallas & FortWorth

Mireya  has been in the Hispanic radio and marketing industry in the USA since 1988.

Mireya started her career as a copy writer with Rodriguez Communications (RC). She has worked on accounts such as Bank One, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, First Bank, Chase Bank, City of Miami Beach, Fiserv, HEB, Pepsi and Wrangler to name just a few. She traveled throughout the country as RC acquired more radio stations. Her assignment was to set up and train the traffic department. Another assignment at R.C. was to create and co-ordinate all the station promotions.

It was while working in sales for R.C. that she realized  she had a higher calling. Working one-on- one with small Hispanic business owners, she saw the need to educate this ever-growing entrepreneurial segment on how to market their products or services properly and not to be at the mercy of the media. It was this insight that led her to create SMI.

Mireya was born in Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico and now resides in Dallas, Texas with her two sons Michael and Alex.
